GHOST IN THE SHELL: NEW ANIME UNDERWAY!

A brand-new Ghost in the Shell animation project is officially in production!

Science SARU, the studio behind this year's TV anime THE GHOST IN THE SHELL that began in July 2026, returns to animate it. The news was revealed as a surprise flyer at the OPEN HOUSE press preview at DOVER STREET MARKET GINZA in Tokyo, where director Mokochan held a signing. The format, staff and release date have not yet been announced.
